Anu Malik has been again accused to lifting a song this time for his latest film Jaan-e-mann.
According to buzz, the clash is between Malik and A R Rahman's nephew G V Prakash who has given the background score for the film. Prakash alleges that the tune for
this song is his and not Malik's who it is credited to in the album.
But the music director has forcefully refuted rumours that that it was not him but A R Rahman's nephew G V Prakash who composed the eminently hummable 'Humko
maloom hai...'
"Ask director Shirish Kunder, how hard I've worked on the songs and the music of the film. At the end of it, it's very upsetting to have someone else try to snatch away my
credit," fumes Anu.
G V Prakash is also the new kid on the block down South with big names like Shankar Mahadevan and Alka Yagnik singing his tunes. Prakash has also worked with uncle
Rahman on films like Swades, Kisna and Rang de Basanti.
