Actor Inaamulhaq, of 'Airlift' and 'Lucknow Central' fame, celebrated his 38th birthday in a unique way in Varanasi, where he is shooting for a film these days. The actor spent the day celebrating his birthday and Children's Day o 14th November, 2017 with a special screening of his film 'Airlift' and cutting the cake with specially-abled children in Varanasi. The screening was organized by Radio Mirchi and is called 'Kano Dekhi'

Inaamulhaq shares special memories from the celebrations. "It was perhaps one of the best birthdays that I have ever had. The children may not have the gift of sight but their insight is amazing. I was called to motivate them but the joy and motivation that I got from these kids in return is much more than I could ever get from anyone else. My film 'Airlift' was screened for them and they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves," Inaamulhaq said to Times Of India. He further added, "Later, the kids got all around me as I cut the birthday cake and even sang the birthday song for me`.

The kids interacted with the actor after the screening and during that of them asked him what he does when he finds himself in a difficult situation to which Inaamulhaq told them a story with a lesson of 'this too shall pass' which they loved.

`They shared their life stories with me and I told them that I also come from a humble background like them and I sometimes didn't even have proper shoes to wear to school. It was amazing to see the enthusiasm in these children. Their zest for life is infectious and I realised ki hum sab chhoti-chhoti cheezon ko le ke pareshan ho jate hain, aur yahan yeh bachche hain, jo dekh nahi sakte magar shayad zindagi hum sab se behtar samajhte hain. As I said, this was indeed my best birthday ever`, said to Times of India".
