There was news earlier that Kriti Sanon will be a part of producers Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane's sports drama, Womaniya along with Tapsee Pannu.

A leading daily, however, reported that the Heropanti actress will not be able to do the film anymore.

A source close to the film shared that "As per Kriti's schedule, she was supposed to start shooting for Housefull 4 and Panipat after finishing Arjun Patiala, so with a choco-bloc year for the actress, she did not have the dates that the makers now wanted. Hence, they had to decide to move on from their first choice."

As per the tabloid, the makers are now looking at Bhumi Pednekar to fill in Kriti's shoes for the project as her availability seems to be matching with those that the project demands.

However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement for the same. Post which the makers will start preparing for the film to go on floors.

Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in Netflix's Lust Stories and has Sonchiriya on her plate. Kriti on the other side has recently wrapped Arjun Patiala and left for London to shoot for Housefull 4. She has also signed Lukka Chuppi along with Kartik Aaryan.
