Soundarya Sharma made her acting debut with Ranchi Diaries in 2017. Recently she has started her own Production House. In a conversation, she shared details about her production house 'Mustard And Red'.

Tell us something about your relationship with your mentor Anupam Kher.
Kher Sir is very kind and the most generous person apart from being one the most celebrated actors our country has ever produced. When my dad (an old friend of Kher sir) told him about my decision of joining movies, he was very happy for me. He is my advisor, my mentor, and my inspiration! He is a reference point for all the newcomers who have no godfathers In the industry.

You were a medical student, how did acting happen?
I always wanted to be an actor. So while I was doing my internship I used to go for my acting workshops in NSD and Act 1 theatre group in Delhi and had auditioned for the film. After 3/4 consecutive auditions for the same film, I bagged my role!

We have seen quite a few fitness videos on your social media channels, how particular are you about it?
I am a fitness freak! I like to stay healthy and fit irrespective of the profession I am in. That has been my mantra. For me being fit is the way of life. So I'm very particular about what I eat and my workouts. I am a vegetarian and a teetotaler, I like to eat everything including my cheat diets of chaats and Chola bhaturas at times and work out right. I do yoga, acrobats and gymming! Some different stretches definitely help

You made your Bollywood debut last year with `Ranchi Diaries`, how has the experience been in the industry so far as a newcomer?
I'm a person who doesn't like to get bogged down by the situation around me. I like to pave my own path and my production house `Mustard And Red` is a result of my restlessness and an overflow of my creative thoughts. My father told me Mumbai is known to be a generous city and my experience in the last one-year echo's his thoughts.

When are we seeing you next on the big screen?
God willing very soon! Things are already in the pipeline but I only like to talk about the things as and when they are happening. So I would wait for the makers to announce it officially, we all would know it soon! Fingers crossed

What message would you like to give to your fans?
Dream on, dreams do come true. Though my journey has just started and I'm taking my baby steps. I want to thank everyone for all the love and support I'm receiving from you all. Having come from no background, no godfather in Bollywood in today's tough time your support means the world to me. Because only I know being an outsider what challenges a person faces and I never get bogged down by situation ever. I'm an eternal optimist, I only look at the sunny side of everything! And God is kind! So Keep working hard.
