Former Bollywood leading lady Madhuri Dixit visited Siddhi Vinayaka temple in Central Mumbai's
Prabhadevi area along with her husband Dr. Sriram Nene and two sons-Arin and Ryan- to offer prayers to
Lord Ganesha.
Madhuri holidaying with her family here is currently shooting for her comeback film, directed by veteran
Bollywood filmmaker Yash Chopra.
The movie is slated for a mid-2007 release.
In October 1999, Madhuri, Bollywood's heartthrob, married Los Angeles based cardiac surgeon Dr. Nene.
Though she never officially quit from Bollywood, but her long stay in Los Angeles made it impossible for her
to sign many film projects in India.
In spite of this, she gave 2002's hit movie Devdas, along with Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai. Madhuri
kept shuttling between India and the US and completed her all her incomplete projects. Notably among
them were Lajja, Yeh Raaste Hain Pyar and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam.
It has been reported that Dr. Nene is also planning to settle in India, by early next year. For the time being,
Madhuri is thinking to get her elder son enrolled in a Mumbai school.
