Salman Khan fans have another reason to rejoice. In his next home production `Notebook, which releases on the 29th of March, the superstar has not just done a promotional video but he has also sung the most romantic song of the film `Main Taare`.

The song `Main Taare` comes in the film at a very crucial point - when the lead protagonist Kabir (Zaheer Iqbal) realises that he has fallen in love with a girl (Pranutan Bahl) he has never seen or met. "This is one of the most significant points in the film and that`s why the song is so important," says director Nitin Kakkar.

Kakkar and music composer Vishal Mishra felt that Salman`s voice would take the song to a different level and add a new dimension to it. That`s when they approached him and they were thrilled with the results. "Salman sir has added several more layers to the composition," says Vishal.

The songs of `Notebook` are already immensely popular among the youth right now. `Main Taare` by Salman Khan is expected to drive the album to further heights. And from the response it is getting already, the album is all set to rule the charts.
