Just recently, the actress's next film 'Shakuntala Devi' was announced where she will be seen playing the character of Anupama Banerji. The actress shared her first look from the film on Instagram and fans just cannot stop gushing over how adorable she looks- cute, adorable, different and well, so much more!


Sanya is one actress who is known to go that extra mile to ace the look of her character all of which have been poles apart from the other. Starting from Dangal to her last Badhai Ho, she had played very different roles.

In Dangal, she was seen as Babita, donning the look of a wrestler with her hair nearly chopped off to get that perfect tom-boy look. The character she played was just justice to the character. The way she walked, the way she stood and played on the mat was a massive work.


While in her second film, Pataakha where she played the role of Genda Kumari (Chhutki) - the actress was seen carrying off the look of a rusty looking village girl. Pataakha is based on Charan Singh Pathik's short story titled Do Behnein in which she dressed in the sort of attire typically worn by village women. The comedy-drama revolves around the lives of two feuding sisters who, realize the true nature of their relationship when they are seperated after marriage. She got a lot of appreciation for this movie too.


With a complete contrast to her first two films, the look in her third film Badhaai Ho where she played as Renne who was an upbeat urban Delhi woman was also acknowledged.
