It's been a year since the shooting of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer romantic drama 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' has been over, but so far nobody has said any word about the release date of the film. In such a situation, a piece of news related to this film of Arjun Kapoor is doing the rounds.

Recently during the promotion of his upcoming film 'Panipat', Arjun Kapoor answered a question related to 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar'. He said the film might release only after the release of 'Mardaani 2'. The film was earlier scheduled to release this year but now the makers have decided to release the film after Mardaani 2, which means it has been postponed to next year.

When Arjun was asked whether the film would be released directly on the digital platform, in response, Arjun said: "If you have met Adi (Aditya Chopra) and he has told you so!".

Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor is all set to portray the character of Sadashiv Bhau in Ashutosh Gowariker's historical drama film Panipat alongside Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Panipat has an ensemble cast of Mohnish Bahl, Padmini Kolhapure, Zeenat Aman, Kunal Kapoor, Nawab Shah and many more. Panipat is scheduled to release on 6 December.
