Rajkumar Rao, Rakulpreet Singh, and Hema Malini starrer long-delayed romantic-comedy film 'Shimla Mirchi' will finally see the light of the day after almost 5 years of delay as it is now set to hit the theaters and the trailer of the film is out too.

Shimla Mirchi is a romantic-comedy film focused on a shy boy 'Avinash' (Rajkumar Rao) with a stammering problem who has never proposed to a girl. He falls for Naina (Rakulpreet Singh) and decides to write a letter expressing his love but the letter reaches Naina's mom instead (Hema Malini) resulting in a goofed up situation. Starring Rajkumar Rao, Rakulpreet Singh and Hema Malini in lead roles 'Shimla Mirchi' also stars Shakti Kapoor and Kanwaljit Singh in supporting roles.

Directed by Ramesh Sippy this film is produced by Rohan Sippy and Kiran Juneja and it is scheduled to hit the screens on January 3rd, 2020 along with Sneha Taurani's Sunny Kaushal and Rukshar Dhillon starrer film 'Bhangra Paa Le'.
