After establishing herself as one of the most popular actresses on the small screen, Digangana Suryavanshi made her big-screen debut with the comedy 'Fryday' and the romantic drama 'Jalebi', both of which released on the same day. Her performance in both the films was received acclaim from the audience and the critics alike, thus ensuring a very good start for her Bollywood career. Though she has not done any TV show since her Bollywood debut, the TV audience still fondly remembers for her memorable portrayals on the small screen including her character of Veera from the show 'Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera'.

Apart from films, shooting for commercials has been keeping Digangana busy. A while before the lockdown was announced, Digangana shot for a TV commercial with superstar Akshay Kumar. It was a special moment for Digangana as she has always been a huge admirer of the actor.

`Sharing the screen with Akshay sir was almost like a dream coming alive. Like everyone else, I have been a huge fan of his work. Even after achieving so much, he still has the enthusiasm and energy of a newcomer and works extremely hard. That is very inspiring. Working with him on this commercial was a great learning experience. Now, I hope I get to share the screen with him in a film soon,` says an elated Digangana.

Last year, Digangana made her debut in Telugu cinema with 'Hippi'. She is all set to take giant strides in the Telugu industry with 'Valayam' and 'Seetimaarr' which will release towards the end of next year or early next year. She also has a big Bollywood project in her kitty, the details of which are under wraps at the moment.
