While Indian and Pakistani politicians are continuing their dialogue for 60 years, Indian and Pakistani actresses are doing more than their cultural share at "samjhauta".

If we have India TV's superstar Nausheen, better known as 'Kkusum' for her role in the Balaji serial by the same name, being coveted by Pakistan TV, we have already had Meera doing the Bhatt production, Nazar, with Ashmit Patel. Followed Sana Nawaz from across the border, but both failed to make much headway unfortunately.

But that's not going to stop them from tryting again, thank Allah and Shukar karo Bhagwan! After their first unlucky stint in Bollywood, both Meera and Sana Nawaz are back for round two in Bollywood.

Meera will be seen in Simran, a film reportedly based on the life of Aishwarya Rai, who gets married to Abhishek Bachchan today. Sana will also be seen in two films, Kaafila, which has been in the making for some time and was scheduled to be bee relased last year, and Shashi Ranjan's next Indo-Pak joint venture.

Meera became a superstar in Pakistan at age 16, and if nothing else kicked up quite a roar by her arrogant comments on Indian acrtresses, exposing her assets onscreen and doing a liplock with Ashmit in Nazar. Even while she continued to defend herself and her actions with statements like "I don't like vulgarity."

Meera fancies herself in the roles like Aishwarya's Paro in Devdas, Kajol's in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Rani Mukherjee in Black and Madhuri Dixit in Dil To Pagal Hai.

Sana's Kaafila is a film that deals with the subject of illegal immigrations. Ammtoje Mann of Hawaayein fame formally launched Kaafila in Mumbai with Sunny Deol and Sana Nawaz in the lead roles. The star line-up includes Ammotje Mann himself, Sudesh Beri, Ashish Duggal, others from the theatre and modelling world and few artistes from Bulgaria and Uzbekistan.

Pakistani actress Sana Nawaz is playing the female lead, an Afghani character. Another Pakistani actress Mona Lisa, popular on Pakistan TV, is playing the role of an Indian with Bulgarian supermodel Paulina playing the lead opposite Sunny Deol.
