In today's time, when thriller has become the first choice of the users on OTT Platforms, Alt Balaji and ZEE 5 have come up with the series 'Bebaakee', an absolutely amazing blend of romance and family drama. Bebaakee revolves around the story of two lavish boys who are best friends and their friendship is tested when a young middle-class girl with high aspirations comes in. The plot starts with Sufiyaan (Kushal Tondon) who is a young and rich businessman with his own personal issues and Kainaat (Shiv Jyoti), a beautiful and confident Journalist who never compromises with her morals like Sufiyaan. Sufiyaan and Kainaat are two different persons who cannot afford to agree on a single matter but keeps on finding a way to get closer to each other. The plot gets interesting when Imtiaz (Karan), Sufiyaan's brother from another mother comes back to India and becomes friends with Kianaat.

It depicts a mindblowing love triangle when the caring bond of Kainaat and Imtiaz affects Sufiyaan and he takes up every chance to let her down. Along with the romantic drama, the series also takes us through the life of a lavish family of Sufiyaan whose professional life looks like a dream but the personal relations are broken inside. Though the bromance of Sufiyaan, Imtiaz, and other brothers in the family is worth appreciating for.

Created by Ekta Kapoor, the series showcases a brilliant plotline with every emotion of love, hate, and jealousy. Ekta has made sure to include a typical love angle to the story with the main plot of Sufiyaan and Imtiaz falling for Kainaat. What's interesting to know is that will the best buddies compromise their love for their friendship or will become a 'bebaak' lover. The screenplay is engaging, however, the love story of Kainaat and Sufiyan picks a slow pace after the initial episodes.

Coming to the performances, Kushal Tondon as Sufiyaan has done an appealing job as a hard character who never smiles until a typical cheerful girl comes in their lives. Shiv Jyoti as Kainaat made her digital debut with 'Bebaakee' and has made sure to leave her mark on the screen with her role. Karan Jotwani has also done a remarkable job with her role as the best friend and a lover. Suchitra Pillai as Imtiaz`s mother has showcased the typical royal mother who never compromises with her beauty and high class. The music of the series is very likable and engaging as it makes feel the love drama even more.

In a nutshell, Bebaakee is a must watch offering by ZEE 5 which will keep you hooked to your screens with its romantic and family drama. Give it a watch to enjoy another delightful work by Ekta Kapoor.
