Netflix is gambling its horror games with several series and films released on the platform in recent times. Just with its second series after Sacred Games, Netflix released the horror web miniseries 'Ghoul' (2018) based on the Arab folklore monster ghoul. Now after anthologies like 'Ghost Stories' (2020) and mini-series like 'Betal' (2020), Netflix is once again coming up with a new horror film, 'Kaali Khuhi'. However, both 'Ghost Stories' and 'Betal' did not receive a good response from the critics. Now it's the turn of 'Kaali Khuhi'.

On Monday, Netflix released a teaser of the horror movie 'Kaali Khuhi'. The story of 'Kaali Khuhi' is being told around superstition and it targets the problem of female feticide in Punjab. The teaser shows a 10-year-old girl, Shivangi who saves her family from terrible ghosts in her village. The teaser is quite intriguing and ominous music and creepy moments make the teaser more fascinating. Check out the 'Khaali Khuhi' teaser here -



Directed by Terrie Samundra, the film has been produced by Anku Pande and Ramon Chibb, and features Shabana Azmi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Satyadeep Mishra and Riva Arora in pivotal roles. The film is all set to frighten the audience on Netflix, October 30th as a Halloween treat. Khaali Khuhi will compete with Amazon Prime's crime-thriller series 'Mirzapur 2', which is set to release on October 23rd.
