The sons of Sharafat Ali Khan, a tabla player, Sajid-Wajid have earned a name in the Indian music industry with their unbeatable songs and compositions. But unfortunately, the duo broke on June 1st, when Wajid Khan died from the cardiac arrest in Surana Sethia Hospital, Mumbai. On the birth anniversary of late Wajid, brother Sajid celebrates his birthday and also cuts the cake on the behalf of his brother. Along with him, Salman Khan and Sohail Khan also accompany him on the occasion.

Sajid Khan shared a video from the cake cutting ceremony and dedicated a heart-warming message to his late brother. He captioned the post in the memory of Wajid and wrote, "Happy birthday Wajid. Great musician, great soul, mind-blowing person and dearest brother: miss you yaar." Salman Khan and his brother Sohail paid tributes to the late musician and can be heard singing the Happy Birthday song. Check out the video post here -

On the work front, Sajid-Wajid first scored music for Salman Khan's Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya in 1998. In 1999, they scored music for Sonu Nigam's album Deewaana. They composed music for several films further. The music duo has also composed music for several films starring Salman Khan. They were mentors on the reality shows Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar and composed the title track for television reality shows Bigg Boss 4 and Bigg Boss 6, Sajid-Wajid had also composed IPL 4 theme song "Dhoom Dhoom Dhoom Dhadaka", with Wajid singing the title track.
