The poster & release date of Bhumi Pednekar's gut-wrenching horror flick 'Durgavati' is out!
Theatres in India are all set to open from October 15th and will screen the films with 50% occupancy, with measured guidelines. Just after the news, Amazon Prime has geared up its streaming service and has announced its fresh slate of films that are set to release digitally from October to December months. The films include South star Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru', Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan's Coolie No 1, Bhumi Pednekar's 'Durgavati' and Rajkummar Rao and Nushratt Baruchaa's 'Chhalaang'. With the official announcement, Bhumi Pednekar has also posted a new poster with her fans on social media.

Bhumi Pednekar shared the first poster of her horror flick 'Durgavati' on Instagram and wrote, "What's behind that door? You will know soon, Durgavati releasing worldwide,11th December 2020 on @primevideoin." The film is a remake of the 2018 Telugu film 'Bhaagamathie'. The Telugu storyline will revolve around a woman imprisoned in a haunted house while she is interrogated by law enforcers investigating a politician they suspect of corruption. 'Durgavati' is a horror-thriller film directed by G. Ashok, who is a director of Telugu film 'Bhaagamathie'. The film stars Bhumi Pednekar as an IAS officer, which was played by Anushka Shetty in the original version. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Akshay Kumar and Vikram Malhotra under T-Series, Cape of Good Films and Abundantia Entertainment. Now, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film will be streaming worldwide on December 11th, 2020 on Amazon Prime.
