With a cast that boasts of stars like Shahid Kapur, Ayesha Takia, Sunny Deol, Sameera Reddy and Viveik Oberoi, "Fool 'N' Final" is a small album that has the very busy Himesh Rehammiya composing all the tracks and Sameer penning the lyrics.

The soundtrack comprises certain notable numbers that are already making the rounds on television but the rest don't really deserve any mention. Surprisingly, Reshammiya has allowed others too to do the singing in the album.

Kunal Ganjawala takes the mike to croon "Tere layee", a song that is different and catchy owing completely to the way the music is arranged and the manner in which the beats take a youthful, perky and Western twist. Himani of "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" fame joins Ganjawala in the track.

Another captivating track is "Yeh dooriyan", which will surely encompass mixed reactions. Newcomer Hanif Shaikh has done a great job as his voice is quite unlike the typical Bollywood voice and has something interesting about it.

The track is slightly Western in its arrangements, which makes it more appealing.

"Ek kalsa" comes next. It is sure to fade away without anyone even knowing that it existed. Seriously! What was lyricist Sameer thinking when he penned the words for it? Reshammiya's singing skills, as usual, require a rethink.

After "Ek kalsa", Reshammiya croons to "Sigdi", a forgettable number. Jayesh Gandhi joins him in the song that makes an easy attempt in not impressing listeners at all and Reshammiya fans might second thoughts about their favourite singer.

Only the first two tracks are impressive but there's little to make the album a great hit.
