Chhorii is being shot in Madhya Pradesh and will be a start-to-finish filming schedule and the unit will film all through December across Madhya Pradesh. Nushrratt Bharuccha took it to Instagram to share some glimpses from the sets of Chhorii. In the pictures, the whole team can be seen following all the safety measures as all the crew members were seen wearing the PPE kits. The film is a Hindi remake of the award-winning Marathi film 'Lapachhapi' and will be directed by the same director Vishal Furia who had directed 'Lapachhapi'as well. The 2017 Marathi film caught people's attention as it told the story of age-old societal beliefs and practices that give rise to tales of pure terror.
The film's unique blend of scary and social drama made it a thrilling as well as an emotional ride. Reportedly, the film will revolve around Nushrratt Bharuccha's character. The film is slated to release next year.
