Yet again, Kangana Ranaut is in a legal double but this time it's not related to the Maharashtra government or Bollywood, but for her remarks on the farmer protest going in the Delhi-Haryana border. Well, a few days back the actress passed a controversial remark on social media where she mistakenly identifies an older woman with Shaheen Bagh protester Bilkis Bano. Although, after getting negative comments and backlash, the actress deleted her tweet. But it seems like people are not ready to forget it.

While taking legal action against Kangana Ranaut, a Chandigarh based advocate sent a legal notice to Kangana for mistaking an elderly woman participating in the farmer rally with the famous Bilkis Bano and for her remarks on being 'available for Rs 100' in the protest. A lawyer named Hakam Singh, who is serving in the Punjab & Haryana High Court spoke on the matter and cleared that the lady was not a fake lady in the notice. He also shared the elder woman's real identity and said, 'her name was Mahinder Kaur, someone who has 'always remained connected with fields and field work and is the wife of a farmer.'

The advocate further added in the legal notice, "That by using such lower remarks for the said lady, you have not only lowered down the prestige and image of the said lady, but you have also lowered down the image and prestige of each lady as well as of each person, who takes part in protests for noble cause and for fighting their rights."

"That by tweeting in such a manner, the same also points towards the fact that the protests which are being conducted by farmers, are being conducted by bringing persons on rent. Such a low thinking from you, who is herself a lady and celebrity, is not acceptable, " reads the notice.

"That you have further made mockery of the farmers who by putting their life at risk have been protesting for their rights. You have made a mockery of every protestor who takes part in any protest/procession and thus, have injured their feelings," it continued.

Reacting to her deleted tweet, the Pollywood industry's big names such as Sargun Mehta and Ammy Virk also slammed Kangana for her inappropriate tweet.
