Due to the new farm bills, there is a huge rift and drift between the farmers and the central government. Trying to make things normal, Sunny Deol spoke on the matter and supported the Indian ruling government but it seems like the public didn't like his statement. The actor is now facing a backlash from those who are supporting the farmers and now keeping his security, the actor has been accorded with Y-category security by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

On December 6, actor and BJP Lok Sabha member Sunny Deol took to Twitter and wrote, "I know that many people want to take advantage of the situation and are creating problems. They are not thinking of farmers. They may have their own agenda. I stand with my party and farmers and will always be with farmers.

He further added, `Our government always thinks of the betterment of farmers and I am sure that the government will ensure the right outcome after holding talks with farmers." Check out his previous tweet on farm bill -

After Sunny Deol's tweet, his father Dharmendra also tweeted and wrote, `I am extremely in pain to see the suffering of my farmer brothers. Government should do something fast." Check out the veteran actor's tweet -
