"I don't care who is with me on this. But a sequel to 'Mr. India' will happen'. It may take some time. But I will make it. For sure," Boney told.
Nikhil gave his side of the story: "Very frankly, the offer had come to me at a very early stage. It happened like this.
Anil Kapoor and I were shooting on a tube train for my film 'Salaam-e-Ishq' when we got around to talking about the sequel to 'Mr. India'. Suddenly, Anil asked me if I'd be interested in directing the sequel. I said, why not? That's it.
"Beyond that I haven't been approached. Right now I'm busy with the pre-production of my new film with Akshay Kumar for the Sippys (Ramesh and Rohan Sippy)."
But Anil, who played the title role in the 1987 hit flick directed by Shekhar Kapur, is not as hopeful as his brother.
"Right now it does look pretty impossible to do a sequel to 'Mr. India'," said Anil.
