Jitendra Kumar is better known for his work in web series where he portrayed characters such as Jeetu, Munna Jazbaati, Gittu, Kejriwal and many more. Recently, the actor was seen in Amazon Prime's comedy-drama web-series, 'Panchayat' for which he has won a Filmfare OTT award in the category of 'Best Actor Comedy Series (Male)'. Now, the actor will be seen next in Netflix's sports drama project titled, 'Jadoogar'. In the sports drama, he will be seen alongside Javed Jaffrey and Love AajKal (2020) fame Arushi Sharma.

In Netflix's project, Jitendra will play the role of a football player whereas Arushi will be seen opposite him and Javed Jaffrey will helm the role of his sports coach. Famously known for directing critically-acclaimed projects like Permanent Roommates, Yeh Meri Family, and TVF Tripling, Sameer Saxena will take the director seat for the project.

On the work front, Jitendra Kumar was last seen in Hitesh Kewalya's social-comedy film, 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' as Aman Tripathi and Abhishek Tripathi in Amazon Prime's Panchayat alongside Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, and Biswapati Sarkar.

On the other side, Arushi Sharma was recently seen in Imtiaz Ali's romantic film 'Love Aaj Kal' for which her performance was highly praised by the audience and critics as well. Javed Jaffrey was seen last in David Dhawan's comedy flick, 'Coolie No.1' which premiered on Amazon prime.
