Here's why Janhvi Kapoor starrer 'Good Luck Jerry' gets halted!
Janhvi Kapoor recently commenced the shoot of Hindi remake of Tamil hit, 'Kolamavu Kokila' titled 'Good Luck Jerry' but the shoot got halted in Punjab due to tension between the farmers and the Centre on the implementation of the farming laws. Directed by Siddharth Sen Gupta, the film was kick-off in Punjab but was affected due to the farmer protest.

Janhvi Kapoor was shooting for the film in Bassi Pathana in Punjab when they were interrupted by a farmer group and started shouting slogans against the farm law and only permitted the crew to shoot if they agreed to support the farmers against the farm law bill. but later on, they left the place.

Even earlier, Janhvi Kapoor herself shared a post on her Instagram story and supported the farmer. She wrote, "Farmers are at the heart of our country. I recognize and value the role that they play in feeding our nation. I hope a resolution is reached soon that benefits the farmers." But now, the film shoot has been resumed.

Well, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in 'Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl' a biographical film directed by Sharan Sharma and produced under Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as Indian Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi in supporting roles. On the other side, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen next in Hardik Mehta's 'Roohi Afzana' along with Rajkummar Rao, Varun Sharma in the pivotal roles.
