He has moved to a small town near Mumbai where he stays alone and composes his music from there. Not willing to do any negative role on television, Sachin is happy and content with whatever roles he has been offered.
"He is a very mature sweet gentle soul who treats everyone well and people around him also like him a lot. He is very soft spoken and classy. When he meets Kaajjal (Surveen Chawla) for the first time he is taken aback by her state as she seems lost and has no one to turn to.
Eventually he will find out that she has lost her memory and has a misconception that he is her husband. Due to Kaajjal's weak mental state and his kind nature does not allow him to turn his back on her.
He plays along with this lie and takes her back to his home to take care of her...and later falls in love with her" says Sachin when asked to say something about his role and the show.
There is going to be a love triangle in the show when Dev discovers that Kaajjal is not responsible for his mother's death and then begins Dev's passionate journey to get Kaajjal back.
This busy man has been shuffling from one set to the other, but is thankful to his producers for their co-operation. "At one point of time I was in three shows at a time, but I'm lucky that till now I have always got to work with such good producers who never crib and demand," says this thankful actor.
Sachin was once a part of a male-oriented show titled 'Family Business', but since then has been part of female-oriented shows like ‘Thodi Si Zamen Thoda Asmaan', ‘Solah Sringaar' and now ‘Kaajjal'.
"See, what I think about orientation is that the hero and heroine are there in every show, but if it is a female-oriented show, the heroine will be glorified and vice-versa. As long as I'm there in five out of nine sequences why should I have any kind of problem," asks Sachin.
So busy is Sachin these days that he cannot even spend enough time with his two daughters. However, whenever he can, he does keep in touch with them over the phone. "My daughters have a lot of feed-back for me and when I get home, I give them a patient hearing," informs the proud papa.
Not willing to be a part of films anymore, Sachin says, "I do not want to play small roles in films standing in the crown with guns in hands. I do not find it worthwhile. I prefer being a hero on television".
We respect your thinking Sachin, and hope you do much better in life. - Mili Swarnakar
