Cartel
ALTBalaji's latest release Cartel is a story of the first family of the business, who define power and rule Mumbai, and is led by Rani Maai (played by Supriya Pathak). The fate of this family's rule lies upon the shoulders of her three sons - Major Bhau (Tanuj Virwani), Abhay (Rithvik Dhanjani), and Madhu (Jitendra Joshi). Set in present-day Mumbai, Cartel takes us through the journey of 5 crime lords and how their world, the underworld, is connected to every corner of the city's political, judiciary, and corporate bodies.
Produced by Balaji Telefilms, the show has a stellar cast comprising Supriya Pathak, Tanuj Virwani, Jitendra Joshi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Pranati Rai Prakash, Divya Agarwal, Girija Oak Godbole, Amey Wagh, Monica Dogra, Vikram Kochhar, Vibhav Roy, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Sanaya Pithawala, Mayur More, Mrinal Dutt, Krishna Kaul, Aditi Vasudev, Keval Dassani, Kannan Arunachalam, Sushrii Mishra, Anil George amongst the 137 actors in the show.
Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu
Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu is the story of a man, a Hero named Nawab, set in the backdrop of the 1990s, which will take the audience through a rollercoaster storyline showcasing the rise of a 'Hero'. Parth Samthaan plays, Nawab, who grows up to be the ultimate Nawab in the town. Filled with entertainment, the series Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu is a story of love, loyalty, betrayal, and a 'Hero' at the Centre of it all, also known as Nawab, as his father fondly named him. The show turned out to become a blockbuster and was quite an engaging watch. Along with Parth Samthaan, the rest of the cast members include popular and versatile names like Patralekha, Arshin Mehta, Arslan Goni, and numerous other talented actors.
Apharan
Apharan could be touted as the first hit crime thriller on ALTBalaji. The series which had jaw-dropping twists and turns was such a hit amongst the audience that it was being commissioned for another season. The show's dialogues were such a hit amongst the memesters, that it made BC Aunty - a character from the show, a social media star. The cast comprises Arunoday Singh, Mahie Gill, Monica Chaudhary, Nidhi Singh, Varun Badola, in the leads.
Bicchoo Ka Khel
Another thriller from ALTBalaji's kitty Bicchoo Ka Khel was perfect for the genre it was made. The Ashish R Shukla's directorial had rustic vibes and was based in the heartlands of India. It was full of masala graced with the perfect amount of thrill. It is one of the finest masala thrillers that no other Indian digital show has even come close to. The cast comprises Divyenndu Sharma, Anshul Chauhan, Sayed Zeeshan Quadri, Mukul Chaddha, Satyajit Sharma, Trisha Mukherjee, in the leads.
Mum Bhai
Akshay Choubey's Mum Bhai is yet another riveting crime drama that you can't afford to miss. The series revolves around an encounter specialist Bhaskar Shetty. The series had all the elements a successful crime drama has. Right from the perfect cast, whistle-worthy dialogues to deer in the headlights kinda action. Angad Bedi, Sandeepa Dhar, Sikander Kher, Sunny Hinduja, and others formed the cast of the series, which was produced by Balaji Telefilms.
