Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde's highly anticipated action thriller Deva is set to release on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2025.

Shahid Kapoor took to Instagram to share a glimpse of his look from the film. In the first look, Shahid appears dapper, flaunting his muscular physique while wielding a gun and wearing a bulletproof vest labeled "Police." He captioned the post: `Get ready for a violent Valentine's Day. DEVA, releasing in theatres on February 14, 2025!"

Initially, Deva was rumored to be a remake of the 2013 Malayalam film Mumbai Police, which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran. However, the filmmakers later clarified that Deva has a different storyline.

Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Deva promises to be an action-packed roller-coaster ride filled with thrills and drama. Shahid Kapoor takes on the role of a brilliant but defiant police officer, while Pooja Hegde stars as a journalist.

The film also features Pavail Gulati in a significant role. Deva is a collaboration between Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, and it is expected to be one of the major releases of 2025.
