Vikrant Massey's upcoming crime-thriller, Sector 36, is set to make its world premiere at the 15th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). The film, which has already generated significant buzz, promises to be a gripping tale inspired by true events.

Speaking about the premiere, Vikrant Massey expressed his excitement: "It's a momentous occasion for me, along with Maddock Films, Jio Studios, and Netflix, to have our film Sector 36 premiering at IFFM 2024. We are honored to bring this film to the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.`

Directed by Aditya Nimbalkar in his directorial debut, Sector 36 is co-produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The film is scheduled for release on September 13, 2024. Starring alongside Massey is the talented Deepak Dobriyal. The story delves into the harrowing disappearance of several children from a local slum, following a police officer's intense investigation that brings him face-to-face with a serial killer. The narrative promises to uncover dark secrets and unsettling truths.

Vikrant Massey, who began his career in television, first captured the audience's attention with his role in Balika Vadhu, a social drama addressing the issue of child marriage. He made his film debut in 2013 with Lootera, starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, and quickly became known for his versatility as an actor.

Over the years, Massey has starred in a variety of successful films, including Dil Dhadakne Do, Lipstick Under My Burkha, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, Haseen Dillruba, and 12th Fail. Each role has showcased his ability to embody complex characters, earning him a reputation as one of Bollywood's most talented actors.

In addition to his acting prowess, Vikrant Massey is also a trained contemporary and jazz dancer, having honed his skills under the guidance of renowned choreographer Shiamak Davar.
