On 26th at 9 PM, Paras Mani Singh will begin the India Challenger Week, promising to win your heart with his 'gyaan' & 'raftaar'. A toto driver from Muzaffarpur, Paras is affectionately known as 'KBC Babu' in his community. His appearance on the show is not just a personal milestone but also a heartfelt mission to secure a brighter future by educating his three daughters.
After moving to Mumbai for better opportunities, Paras initially struggled, working as a security guard in Juhu. Despite facing academic challenges, he returned home with the encouragement of his brothers to venture into a business dealing with electronic materials, such as lightbulbs. Although this venture didn't succeed, Paras didn't give up. He learned to repair mobiles, which soon became a thriving business. However, life threw another hurdle his way when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Following surgery, he battled feelings of demotivation, and the COVID-19 pandemic further added to his difficulties, wiping out his savings and plunging him into financial hardship. His sister sold her jewellery to help him buy a Toto, enabling him to start afresh. Today, Paras Mani Singh's primary goal is to secure a better future for his three daughters by providing them with an education he didn't have. His story is a powerful example of perseverance in the face of adversity, and his appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepatirepresents a crucial step towards achieving his dreams.
In a touching moment on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Paras Mani Singh will reveal his love for poetry, inspired by Harivansh Rai Bachchan. While he was hospitalized, it was pen and paper that became his companions, offering him comfort and a creative outlet. Paras will also recite a poem he wrote, titled 'Adbhut Tamtam', for Mr. Bachchan.
Talking about his experience, Paras Mani Singh shared, `Being on KBC has been a lifelong dream for me, and it's been an unforgettable experience. I am known in my community as 'KBC Babu' for my dedication to the show; my goal is to win enough to secure a better future for my wife, my three daughters, and myself. But beyond that, I want to validate my 'KBC Babu' title and show one and all that I've overcome the toughest challenges. Despite hardships, I refused to give up. My determination and hope have brought me to KBC, and I am committed to fighting and improving my life every day.`
