A Fire gutted the sets of the forthcoming Bobby Deol starrer film on freedom fighter Bhagat Singh at Chandivali Studio in Mumbai on Wednesday night. The fire started at around 11.15 pm, reports said. No casualties were reported.The film`s sets, worth over Rs 1 crore, was completely destroyed in the fire. But the fire was controlled before it could spread to the sets of four other films at Chandivali Studio.
Dharmendra's Vijetha Films has been shooting 23 March, 1931: Shaheed, which stars his son Bobby Deol, for the past month. Sunny Deol, who plays the character of Chandrashekar Azad in the film, was in Toronto on work at the time of the fire. Though the cause of the fire has not yet been established, fire brigade officials said it started while a scene was being filmed.
