Yami and her husband, filmmaker Aditya Dhar, tied the knot in June 2021. The couple welcomed their baby son, Vedavid, on May 20, 2024, a day that coincided with the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Since the birth of their son, Yami has embraced this new role in her life with love and gratitude.

Yami Gautam's Journey in Film and Television

Yami Gautam's career began in television, where she made her debut in 2008 with the show Chand Ke Paar Chalo. She went on to play lead roles in series like Raajkumar Aaryyan and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. Apart from fiction, Yami also appeared in reality shows such as Meethi Choori No 1 and Kitchen Champion Season 1.

Her film debut came in 2009 with the Kannada movie Ullasa Utsaha. However, it was her Bollywood debut in 2012's Vicky Donor, directed by Shoojit Sircar, that catapulted her to fame. Starring opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami received widespread recognition for her role in the film.

Since then, she has appeared in various successful films, including Total Siyapaa, Action Jackson, Badlapur, Sanam Re, Junooniyat, and Sarkar 3. One of her notable roles was in the 2019 military action film Uri: The Surgical Strike, written and directed by her husband, Aditya Dhar. In the film, Yami played the role of Pallavi, and the movie starred Vicky Kaushal in the lead, alongside Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari, and Mohit Raina.

Yami was last seen in Article 370, a political action thriller produced by her husband, Aditya Dhar. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the film featured an ensemble cast including Priyamani, Skand Thakur, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar.
