Devara: Part 1 made a remarkable entrance at the box office on its opening day, grossing Rs 77 crore across all languages, as reported by industry tracker Sacnilk. The action drama, directed by Koratala Siva, achieved an impressive 79.56% occupancy in Telugu theaters on Day 1, indicating a strong audience turnout.

Stellar Cast and Production


The film features Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, with Saif Ali Khan playing the antagonist, Bhairava. The ensemble cast also includes Shruti Marathe, Zarina Wahab, and Talluri Rameswari. Devara: Part 1 is produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni, Kosaraju Harikrishna, and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under their respective banners, Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts.

During promotional activities, director Koratala Siva and the cast participated in an engaging conversation with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In a candid moment, Jr NTR shared intriguing details about the film's ambitious underwater sequences. He revealed that the shooting schedule included 30 to 35 days dedicated to these scenes.

"We initially considered shooting in Kapoli because it had one of the biggest pools available. However, we opted to invest more and constructed a pool in the studio specifically for our action sequences," Jr NTR explained. He emphasized the scale of the underwater shoot, saying, "It was a massive pool where we filmed extensively underwater, creating a phenomenal episode that is key to Devara."

He added that the film's setting incorporates many water elements, reflecting the coastal regions of India. "We had to shoot on and in the water, which added an exciting dynamic to the film."

A Landmark Release


Devara: Part 1 marks the Telugu debut of both Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, broadening the film's appeal across different language audiences. The film is available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, making it accessible to a wide range of viewers.
