We used to stand at the pan shop or roadside eateries, waiting for 9 PM to prepare for the UPSC through the show. There were times when we felt like our preparation was complete. But as soon as you started asking questions, we realized our preparation was far from enough. Until then, general knowledge wasn't prioritised much in schools. What KBC did was make teachers and parents realize the importance of general knowledge and the need to teach it to children. I consider myself very fortunate to be sitting in front of you today!"

Vikrant Massey, who portrayed Dr Manoj Kumar in the film, 12th Fail, sits on the hot seat with Amitabh Bachchan and expresses his admiration for the legendary actor, saying, "Sitting on this hot seat and meeting you in person is a huge moment for me. I've worked in cinema for 12-13 years and spent 8 years in television. In my nearly 20-year career, this is the first time I've had the chance to meet you in person."
