This weekend, the fan-favourite singing reality show, Indian Idol Season 15, on Sony Entertainment Television promises a spectacular episode dedicated to the acclaimed singer - Vishal Mishra. To celebrate Vishal Mishra's birthday, the judges - Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Badshah, along with the contestants, came together for a special celebration. One of the standout contestants, Priyangshu Dutta, also known as 'Idol ki Feelwala Performer,' hails from Kolkata and delivered a powerful performance of "Kaise Hua" that moved the judges to tears. Shreya Ghoshal, Badshah, and the guest of honour, Vishal Mishra, gave Priyangshu a standing ovation.

As a fan of Vishal Mishra, Priyangshu's performance was a testament to his admiration and talent. Judge Badshah acknowledged Priyangshu's love and dedication for Vishal Mishra, saying, "This performance was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes, especially with Vishal here. It felt like a complete picture. This was the moment you were waiting for."

After hearing Priyangshu sing, Vishal Mishra went to the stage and hugged Priyangshu and said, 'If they had found you first, they would have asked you to sing this song.' He also spoke about his journey on Indian Idol, saying, "You're very special. When someone sings from the heart, it truly touches everyone. You remind me of myself. Indian Idol is a unique platform. Anand Sir and I have known each other for years, and singing on a stage like this requires immense courage, self-belief, and divine blessings. If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out. Consider me an elder brother."

Vishal also shared a memory from his early days in Mumbai, saying, "When I came to Mumbai in 2012, there was a shop in Lokhandwala where there was a book - containing the names and numbers of various directors and music producers. I would go daily and pick numbers from the book. One day, the shopkeeper caught me, and after that, I could only pick numbers if I had 50 rupees. I understand the pain of chasing your dreams. Kaise Hua is a song that changed my life and I hope this stage changes yours."

Later, the show's host, Aditya Narayan, revealed a surprise for Vishal Mishra. A video was played, showcasing Vishal's journey from his audition days on Indian Idol, where he was eliminated during the theatre round, to his current success as a renowned singer. Watching the video, Vishal, along with everyone present, was visibly emotional and he said, "I come from Unnao, and when we used to travel for auditions, I had a deep passion for Indian Idol, but I didn't have much family support. My parents wanted me to pursue something different. In small towns, even dreaming requires permission, and I was dreaming big. This stage represents a full circle for me.'

After all the emotional stories, Badshah noticed that everyone was crying, so he lightened the mood with a few jokes to make everyone smile.
