After Khel which he directed for Suniel Shetty three years ago, there's plenty of confusion in director Yusuf Khan's mind and life.

And why not? Since that's the title of Yusuf's next feature film.

"Confusion will be a thriller-comedy and the Pakistani comic star Omar Sharif is writing and acting in the film," informs Yusuf.

Omar Sharif was finalized when he came to India recently for the Star's The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. The project had been stalled because of the Pakistani actor's inability to come to India.

"Earlier Suniel was supposed to produce Confusion. Now it's being produced by Sanjay Ahluwalia, who co-produced David Dhawan's Partner,"informs Yusuf.

But wouldn't shooting in India pose a practical problem for Omar? Lately Sharif completed an entire film Tum Mere Ho featuring Ashmit Patel, Aarti Chabria and Paresh Rawal in Chicago.

Yusuf has found a way out. "We'll be shooting the entire film in Malaysia and Dubai in one schedule in January. Shooting abroad is always better. The entire cast and crew give their full attention."

Also on the anvil for Yusuf Khan is a film for Parag Sanghvi (K Sera Sera) called Subway featuring Sunny Deol and a film with Sanjay Gupta's White Feather.
