Soon we shall see our Bollywood babe Mallika Sherawat to be dancing to the voice of the very popular Singer Kalpana. The bold and the beautiful actress of the Hindi Film Industry to be shaking her leg for an item number sung by a popular voice of Bhojpuri songs.

Does this mean that Mallika who has done hits like ‘Mehbooba O' Mehbooba' and ‘Maiya - Maiya' would now do item numbers for Bhojpuri films?

No, that's not true because Singer Kalpana has not restricted her singing talent only to Bhojpuri films but also she has been singing in around 20 other languages that includes English, Hindi and some regional ones.

These two great talents from their respective fields have now come in together for a Kannad film "Pritia Ke Bomi Maliday". Recently Kalpana has sung for a dhamaal item number in Kannad and Mallika is to be dancing on the same.

This is not the first time that Kalpana has sung an item number for south movies. Her first item number "Sweetie Rasgulla" of film Lankesh Patrike was a massive hit in Kannad Film Industry. Then she dubbed a song for Hamsalekha- the king of Kannad music industry for the film ‘ Soundarya ‘ .

It seems that South Indian music directors are very much fond of Kalpana. This is the reason why most of the music directors are seeking Kalpana to sing for their ventures.

Kalpana has also rendered her voice for Item Girl Rakhi Sawant and Poonam Jhaver in the recent past. The prowess of the singer is so much so that recently popular film actor of the past Mithun Da has signed her to sing for his next Bengali film.
