Riteish Deshmukh is happy about his first action film, though it didn't do well.
"The kind of action that we got to see in Cash had never been seen before. Me, Ajay Devgan, Zayed Khan, Suniel Shetty, Shamita Shetty, Diya Mirza and Esha Deol had a whale of time. We didn't even realize when the shooting got over," says Riteish.
Next, he went into buddy Sajid Khan's unusual Hey Baby. And now there's Sujoy Ghosh's Alladin where Riteish plays a genie. "I didn't do Hey Baby only because it was made by a dear friend. It's a film I'd have liked to do even otherwise. There was a baby and three men. The child was the star in Hey Baby."
Riteish isn't in a hurry to sign on. " I'm taking it easy. I've a handful of films that I am happy with. Cash proved I can do action. After Gol Maal no comedy has come. Hopefully audiences are ready for another one."
Riteish is giving some attention to his other career as an achitect. "I leave my architecture company's running to a very efficient team while I focus on my acting."
