Bipasha Basu is not partying this new year eve, in fact she is performing for live audience in J W Marriott and will take week long break after her show.

It is the same venue where Mallika Sherawat performed last year and got into trouble big time.

Last year, there were unconfirmed reports that Mallika charged up to Rs 50 lakhs for her show at the same venue.

Mallika's act, in which she danced in a skin-coloured outfit and walked off the stage when she realised the show was being filmed for television, ran into controversy.

Let's hope Bipasha has a better experience than Mallika.

Rakhi may not have danced away to victory in Nach Baliye 3, but she will send temperatures soaring at Mumbai's hotel Tulip Star on December 31, the event in which she will be accompanied by Brazilian dancers.

2008 sure seems to be getting off to a hot start.
