Samir Kochhar is doing a matrix sequence in his forthcoming international film titled "The Mole" where he is fighting 30-odd men.

It's for the first time in the history of Hindi cinema that a fight sequence of this is being shot. And naturally, Samir is very excited about the film directed by Sahil Fernades. Nauhid Cyirisi stars opposite Samir Kochhar here.

An enthusiastic Samir says, "I am doing extensive work-outs as a preparation for the special sequence."

Currently Samir is also gearing up for the shooting of his next film ‘Jannat' where he is playing the central character alongside Emraan Hashmi.

The film is being directed by debutante director Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Vishesh Films. The film went to the floors in November last.

Samir is also currently shooting for a Telegu film in Hyderabad where he plays the main bad guy opposite south superstar Ravi Teja. This film is being directed by V V Vinayak.

Samir Kochhar came to the limelight when he anchored a path breaking show called ‘Dangerous'. It is a talk show on sex, which is telecast on India's first glamour and lifestyle channel 'Zoom' with Kamal Sidhu.

Inter-active, saucy and sexy, the show was nominated for the South East Asian Television Awards. In addition, Samir has anchored another daily chat show on ‘Zoom' titled ‘Love Bites'.

Samir is also a theatre buff and has played the lead role in the musical ‘Graffiti Postcards from School' directed by Roshan Abbas and choreographed by Shiamak Davar.

Although Samir always knew that films were his destination, not hailing from a film background, it wasn't as easy till Mahesh Bhatt's film "Zeher" came his way.

In "Zeher", directed by Mohit Suri, he played one of the central characters and the film went on to be a blockbuster. Then ‘Mumbai 10' directed by Mahish Jha happened.

Samir Kochar has just completed shooting for another film "Shadi ke after effects" in which his co-stars are Arbaaz Khan and Tara Sharma. In Mukta Searclight's forthcoming film "Cycle Kick", directed by Shashi Sudigala, Samir is again playing one of the main characters.

He played the lead role in A Raghuvanshi Rai's telefilm "Sambandh" and also portrayed prominent characters in two full length feature films by K C Bokadia. He has also played the lead role in the yet to be released feature film directed by filmmaker Amol Shetge.
