As a part of the gag, a couple visited Gautami on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The couple pretended to be winners of the Best Couple award that was held during a local competition in Allahabad. As winners of the contest, they had bagged the opportunity to meet Gautami aka Tulsi.

Initially the pair played a perfect couple and pretended to be head over heals in love. The couple unnerved Gautami by showing excessive excitement at meeting her. Gautami was taken aback when the wife fell at her feet and began seeking her blessings. Gautami in return kept telling her that she was too ordinary a person to bless her.

However, Gautami admired the relationship they shared and told them that she hoped they would win the award again in the next year...

Much to everyone's surprise the situation took a complete turn when the husband began behaving rudely with his wife.

Gautami was astounded by his behavior and in true Tulsi Maiyya style, advised the husband to treat his wife with respect and walked off the sets saying that if he misbehaved with his wife ever again, she would tell the organizers to bar him from participating in the contest next year.

The entire team was trying hard to hide their giggles only to reveal the gag on the upcoming episode of Kaho Na Yaar Hai, Friday, January 25, 8 pm only on STAR Plus.
