They have been successful every time they got together. This is the magical wand that the ace duo, director, Priyadarshan and actor Akshaye Khanna struck in their earlier successes, HUNGAMA (2003) and HULCHUL (2004).

While the film maker with a near cent percent record went on to make KYON KI, GARAM MASALA, MALAMAAL WEEKLY, CHUP CHUPKE, BHAGAM BHAG, DHOL and BHOOL BHULAIYAA with other actors, viewers were left wanting for the director and actor to come together again.

It now looks like the wish is to be fulfilled, as come May, the two would return to show their 'Charisma' in their latest venture, MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP. As the title indicates, this movie will be a feast for comic lovers.

The film also stars heavy weights like Naseeruddin Shah and Shobana while regulars like Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Joshi in the cast. Genelia D'Souza of Tujhe Meri Kasam and Masti plays the lead opposite Akshaye Khanna.

Produced by Shemaroo Entertainment, MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP would be Akshaye Khanna's second release of the season after RACE which hits screens on 21st March.
