Film jodis is essential part of tinsel town lore. And if it happens to be a hit one, then nothing like it. Actors and actresses have always heeded to this bit of an advice. Alas only Govinda, one of the most underrated actors, fails to realize this.

In the past when the David Dhawan-Govinda combine was at its peak, many a wannabe starlets paired with him. So whether it was Karisma or Raveena, Govinda was the guy to be seen with onscreen. But that was till the box office smiled.With time things changed. Karisma, Raveena and Rani, all his favourite co-stars, moved to greener pastures. Govinda found himself in dire straits. His movies bombed. To make matters worst, he thumbed down projects with the likes of Subhash Ghai, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shyam Benegal. Today neither is he getting enough laughs to keep his audience happy nor getting opportunities to experiment with film roles. As a result the star is left with hardly any films in his kitty.

All that is said to change. He has short listed some up and coming actresses with whom he could make a hit jodi. And who was the chosen one? Newcomer former Miss World Priyanka Chopra. The actress is thrilled to be the lucky one. But wouldn`t it be wiser on Chi Chi`s part to look for an established actress instead?
