The grand premiere of the Bollywood flick 'Sirf - life looks greener on the other side' which revolves around four couples and life in the metros was held in Mumbai on April 23.

Sanjay Kotadia, Ghanshyam Patel and Kanu Patel have produced the film and Rajaatsh Nayar is the director of the film.

Film stars Kay Kay Menon, Manisha Koirala, Ranvir Shorey, Sonali Kulkarni, Parvin Dabbas and Rituparna Sengupta besides several others actors.

Manisha Koirala is returning to films after a hiatus of two years.

The music of the film has been rendered by Sohail Sen and Shibani Kashyap, while Mehboob has penned the lyrics.

The director of the movie Rajaatsh Nayar is confident that people would identify with the film.

"If ten people are watching this film, nine will identify with it and compare it with their own lives and there is something in the film which they will relate to with their own lives and this is a positive aspect of the film," said Nayar.

Sirf lends an insight into the lives of people. It is a tongue-in-cheek look at the fast paced life of people in cities. There are four stories in the film, which later culminate in one story.

All four couples belong to different levels of society and each has its own problems to deal with, but somewhere along the line, their paths cross one another's. The film has ample dose of humour and also pathos. The film is scheduled for an April 25 release.

"I play the character of Namita in the film who is looking for free time in her life. She thinks there should be 36-40 hours in a day instead of 24 hours, so that she can devote more time to her family and work and also save travel time," Sonali Kulkarni told reporters about her role in the movie.

Bollywood poet, lyricist and scriptwriter Javed Akhtar who was present at the film's premiere was hopeful that he would see a good film.

"I'm happy that different kinds of films are being made now-a-days. I think the kind of variety the Indian film industry is offering these days was never seen before and this is also a different kind of film. I wish them well and I hope that I'm going to see a good film," said Akhtar.
