She was paired opposite model Shawar Ali in the video shoot of her new album.
Speaking to media personnel present during the shooting of her album, the starlet said she was inspired by Shah Rukh Khan's song 'Dard-e-Disco' in his latest flick 'Om Shanti Om' to do this album.
"A music album not just for the classes, but for the masses as well. After watching Shah Rukh's 'Dard-e-Disco', I thought I should also portray my pain on the screen in a positive manner. Because, I don't have six- pack abs like Shah Rukh has. I'm going to show something else," said Sherlyn.
Her debut album 'Outrageous' showcased her singing talent. The glamorous actress besides setting the silver screen on fire has also supported social causes, one of them being People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
She made her presence felt in PETA by posing for a terrific photo shoot in lingerie. Sherlyn has also set the film screen's temperatures soaring by debuting in her first flick Red Swastik.
The actress who has been trying to gain a foothold in the film industry for quite some time has been lucky so far, as the prestigious Yash Raj banner has signed her on.
