He has played a variety of roles on screen but this one is special. The Big B, along with Shyam Benegal and Naseeruddin Shah, is going to teach Dramatics and Performing Arts to students of Mumbai University.

The story doing the rounds is that Jaya Bachchan, Aparna Sen, Shabana Azmi, Simi Garewal, Girish Karnad, Kamalhassan and Vyjayanthimala were short-listed by the management of the University to do the honours. But the students would have none of the big names suggested by authorities and insisted on being `taught by the one and only Amitabh Bachchan.`

Therefore, the original draft of the proposal to the higher-ups was overnight scrapped and the new list presented. Needless to say, the request was ratified pronto. Now the big question is - diction, voice modulation, elocution, dialogue delivery and the works are all fine. But could Bachchan hold up any of his screen characters as role models for his students?
