Having failed to make her niche in Hindi films, pretty Priya Gill is trying her luck in Punjabi cinema. Priya has consented to play the heroine in director Manmohan Singh`s Punjabi film Jee Aaya Nu.

The film, to be produced by T-Series, is likely to have Punjabi singer Harbhajjan Mann making his acting debut opposite Priya.Believed to be a big budget movie, the film will have Priya acquiring a new look for her glamorous role.

Priya reveals that her transition to Punjabi films wasn't difficult as she hails from a conservative Punjabi family. Priya Gill has been seen in forgettable roles in Bollywood flops like Tere Mere Sapne, Sirf Tum, and Josh.
