Monica Bedi is the person who was evicted from the Big Boss house on 5th Sept. She was neither happy nor all that sad, though she confesses she did wanted to stay back, for a simple reason that she wanted people to know the Real Monica Bedi.

So we had an interesting chat with her, for a simple reason, to know the Real Monica Bedi.

Admitting that she once loved Salem, Monica said, "I loved him, but it is not the same anymore. I last spoke to him on September 18, 2002 - the day we were arrested. I have not been in touch with him since then.

I really don't know how media got our quotes even when we were in prison. I am not with him anymore and have got nothing to do with him at all. I was never married to Abu Salem, I only lived with him for a year".

Monica said that Salem did try to forget his past and start a fresh life but his past kept haunting and chasing him.

The actor says she was forced to flee India only because of the fear that the police would use her to trap Salem.

She says he feared that the police would catch hold of her and torture her to the core for his whereabouts and so he asked me to accompany him. He told me that he needed time to change his past so I went with him.

Monica says her relationship with Salem was falling apart once they left India. She said that she even tried to escape and she did that for more than three times but he always used to catch her and bring her back.

She fervently denied allegations that many of Salem's properties are in her name. "If I had so much property in my name why would I be living in a rented place in Mulund, " she asked. "I know nothing about his property.''

Monica says she fears nobody now, reacting to Mumbai police's decision to go through the unedited tapes of Big Boss. She says she is clean now and has no fears even after knowing that the Intelligence Bureau is still after her life.

While Monica denies keeping in touch with Salem, the gangster seems to be keeping himself updated on her. He was reportedly upset over Monica's closeness to Rahul Mahajan. Monica blames the media for writing anything.

"Media just want hot and spicy gossips for its viewers, and for that they don't mind writing and printing everything and anything. All they want is masala news for entertainment and they know nothing beyond that". "As for Rahul Mahajan is concerned, whatever happened inside the Big Boss house was just for fun."

Monica rues the fact that she could not spend more time in the Big Boss house. "I wish I had got to spend two more weeks in the Big Boss house. It would've helped me clear my name.

I am someone who takes time to open up. I really needed people to know that the real Monica Bedi is not a bad girl. I have indeed suffered a lot and want to begin a new and clean life."
