He's banking heavily on Madhur Bhandarkar's Diwali release 'Fashion' and is hopeful that the movie would be a turning point in his career.
Interestingly Arjan entered Bollywood with a turkey 'Woh Tera Naam Tha' in 2004. After a three year old wait he got a miniscule role 'Guru' followed by another dud 'Summer of 2007'!
His commercials however helped him to bag South films!
In his own words, "'Fashion' is the biggest thing that has happened to me till date. It's been a long, hard struggle since I came here in 2001 from Delhi to make it big. It takes a lot of guts and patience to hold yourself that long.
After I did a few commercials and advertisements, I got a chance to work in south films. That way I did my first film in 2001 and have done six Telugu films so far and four Hindi films counting 'Fashion'."
He informs how he bagged his aspiring model role opposite Priyanka Chopra, "I've known Madhur from before. He had seen my work both in films and advertisements but I was recommended to him by the dialogue writer of 'Fashion' - Niranjan Iyengar. "
But then as expected the girls -Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, debutante Mughda Godse are getting all the kudos for the film.
We wonder how the movie's going to help further Arjan's career! He says he has two more films and one of them is a "larger-than-life action film."
Let's see where his career is headed post the twists and the turns!
