Come December 9th morning and it will Parathas with Akshay Kumar. Confused? Well so were we when we got a media invite for breakfast with the new King of Bollywood.

It is so that on Dec 9th the team of Akshay's upcoming biggie, Chandni Chowk To China - Producer-Director NikĀhil Advani, Producers Ramesh Sippy, Mukesh Talreja and Warner Bros. have arrangĀed a special screening of three songs of their forthcoming film for the media and the industry people at 10 am in the morning at PVR Cinemas Goregaon.

It is a well known fact that the industry people are used to waking up late may be perhaps that's the reason why the CCTC team made sure that they don't waste time in having breakfast at home.

Well that's quiet considerate one can say. Steaming hot parathas are going to be served to their guests either before or after the screening.

But why just three songs and why not the rest, like how Ashutosh Gowariker did for Jodhaa Akbar? Nikhil defends his decision stating, "There should be something withheld for the film too."

The action comedy, was first titled, Made In China but after the Kal Ho Naa Ho maker went for a recce trip to China to finalise his locations, he came back and re-titled it to Chandni Chowk To China. The film also stars Deepika Padukone (in a dual role) and Ranvir Shorey. It is due for release on 16th January 2009.

Incidentally, the song screening was earlier scheduled to take place on 2nd December and the invitation cards too had been sent out. But the event has been postponed by a week due to the tension prevailing in the city after the terrorist attacks in South Bombay.
