Shahid who has been shying away from the cameras a lot lately will now be seen endorsing VIP luggage. The commercial which is already out has been creating a lot of buzz. The ad is very catchy keeping Shahids romantic icon status in mind. It is already being appreciated and is bound to get more popular.

Confirming the news photographer Atul Kasbekar says, "We loved the scripts and the fact that creative stalwarts like R.Balki and Aamir Jalil were involved was a big part ofthe tipping point. Shahid spent time over and above what was needed to help create a set of commercials that are memorable to say the least."

Says Aamer Jalil whose team directed the ad, "It was fabulous working with Shahid. He is a thorugh professional as an actor and also a wonderful human being. Where most stars are concerned about themselves and their visibility, Shahid was concerned for the product and he being the current youth icon made things easier for us.

Atul Kasbekar's Bling handles Shahid's endorsement deals. The actor is very particular about the brands that he endorses.

According to a friend close to the actor says "Shahid is very selective and wants to sign brand that he believes in. The actor understands that he has a certain responsibility towards his fans and does not want to disappoint them by signing each and every brand."
