The buzz is that 2009 is going to be a very busy year for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

She still has to complete Mani Ratnam's gruelling 'Ravan' with husband Abhishek Bachchan. After that there's old friend Sanjay Leela Bhasali's next to be shot in Goa with Hrithik Roshan.

And there's filmmaker Vipul Shah's next film with Akshay Kumar which is based on the Hollywood hit 'Back to the future'.

Vipul and Akshay are keen on signing only Aishwarya for what they think is a genre-breaking drama.

And Ritiesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment fresh out of its success from 'Rock On' want Ash for their untitled thriller to be directed by Abhinay Deo who's currently busy shooting his directorial debut 'Delhi Belly'. In the movie Ash will once again team up with hubby Abhishek.

Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment has said, "It would be a very stylish thriller to be shot entirely in Greece, Thailand, Istanbul and London. My director Abhinay Deo and I want a particular look for the film. We're trying to get the DOP (director of photography) of the new Nike international commercial. If not, there's Jason West who shot our Rock On!. He can capture that subtle sleek look which the subject demands. We want the film's visual quality to be something never experienced by our audience."

Well, that makes Ash one of the only busiest 30 plus married actresses in B-Town. Quite lucky, considering the fact that most of her contemporaries like Preity, Rani and Sushmita are passé now!
