/> The first HIT of 2009, 'Raaz - The Mystery Continues', has entered it's third week and is busy making profits for everyone who had put their money into the project.

Mahesh Bhatt, who continues to be an active participant in making of the films at Vishesh Films banner talks about the reasons that led to the success of this Emraan Hashmi, Kangna Ranaut, Adhyayan Suman starrer, "The audience can make out a good product and if they think its "paisa vasool", they will definitely recommend it.

That's how a hit is created. And when this happens, no economic slowdown or anything else can stop a film from being successful. After all in times like these, entertainment is something which people want the most!"

'Raaz - The Mystery Continues' has proven to be a success even when the most commonly heard reasons for a film not working have been cited as the "economic slowdown, low sentiments and people not coming to theatres at all".

In fact, when most producers have been cutting spends for promotions of various films, the producers of 'Raaz - The Mystery Continues' are planning a whole host of promotional activities even in the third week running to give the film an additional thurst.

"Why should we slow down", questions Mukesh Bhatt who was always super positive about the prospects of the film throughout it's making, "We have great collections to show. Opinions can be argued with, but not numbers.

And in case of 'Raaz - The Mystery Continues', the numbers speak for themselves. Here is a prime example of great content coupled with impeccable marketing and unparalleled distribution!!"

The veterans admit that the success of 'Raaz - The Mystery Continues' is primarily due to the young brigade of talented actors and other crew members who came together to make this Mohit Suri directed film the highest grossing horror film ever in Bollywood.

Says an elated Mahesh Bhatt, "All our hard work and efforts have paid off. 'Raaz - The Mystery Continues' owes its success to its young team of Emraan Hashmi, Kangna Ranaut, Adhyayan Suman, Mohit Suri, Shagufta Rafique, Toshi & Sharib, Raju Singh and its young technicians.

'Raaz - The Mystery Continues' reflected the thoughts and the needs of the young India, and that's why it has succeeded. And the junta's verdict cannot be argued with."

As per the makers, all the distributors have recovered their investments and made monies from the release week itself. The solid response has resulted in distributors retaining almost the same number of screens in the third week as was seen in the 2nd week.

Smiles Emraan Hashmi, "Who doesn't love box office success? After 'Jannat', it is heartening to see 'Raaz - The Mystery Continues' bringing in audience as well.

I guess finally I can say that I have been able to win over the audience on a consistent note. And for that I have to thank Bhatts who have stuck by me throughout and given me great enough platform to keep churning good films year after year."
